Every day, we encounter challenges, decisions, and setbacks. This course is an invitation to examine what it means to be resilient - in the context of your life. Using the model of Everyday Resiliency, learners will think about their own ability to move through challenges with a deep sense that they are okay. Through a lens of self-compassion and self-care, learners will explore the five pillars of Everyday Resiliency: Belonging, perspective, acceptance, hope, and humour. After reviewing the five pillars, learners will consider resiliency in uncertain times and review topics such as stress, burnout and compassion fatigue. The Everyday Resiliency course offers opportunities for learning and application for each topic and recommends concrete strategies that are applicable to daily life. This course invites learners to get to know their stress and examine daily practices.
